Overview
Luxury Tented Camp
A spectacular luxury tented camp, between jungle and the Indian Ocean, with 28 Cocoon pods in canvas & teak with copper detailing, some with plunge pools. The vaulted bamboo restaurant and bar overlook a large freeform pool and rugged beach where sunset drinks are held.
Wild Coast Tented Lodge is adjacent to Yala National Park. Besides being renowned for its leopard population, elephant and bear sightings, mugger crocodile density, and migrant birds, Yala also hosts multiple historic archaeological sites that date back centuries.
The open-air bamboo-clad Ten Tuskers bar and Dining Pavilion – designed to mirror the boulders scattered across the golden beach beyond – wrap around the resort’s enormous free-form swimming pool.
Guests can enjoy creative daily-changing menus of authentic Sri Lankan cuisine in the restaurant, as well as sundowner cocktails and picnics al fresco on the dunes, watching dusk settle over the Indian Ocean.
