The Ravenala Attitude
Region
Northwest Coast
Overview
Secluded on the island’s northwestern coast in the small village of Balaclava, located inside a huge exotic garden between Lemon River (Rivière Citron) and Turtle Bay. The Ravenala Attitude subtly blurs the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living. This stunning resort is surrounded by the crystal clear water and a white sand beach, the resort exudes the sense of tropical seclusion that lures so many to the Indian Ocean.
The Ravenala Attitude is an all-suite resort that caters for families and couples with a separate adults-only wing. The architecture mixing colonial heritage, contemporary design and tropical accents into each of the suites are very pleasing.
There are late-running kids' and teens' clubs. The choice of activities is numerous to mention, complimentary water sports including glass bottomed boat trips, snorkelling, sailing dinghies, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, water polo and windsurfing are also available.
In addition to number of eating and bar facilities guests staying at the resort can take advantage of the ‘dine-around’ option in seven of the hotel’s restaurants. Mozaik serves breakfast, taste the flavours Asia in Madam Ming, Italian food is served in A Tavola, The Bistrot serves meat dishes, Kot You serves spicy and exquisite “grandmamas” typical Mauritian dishes, and the Beach BBQ serves BBQ on the beach as the name suggests.
