Mauritius has a tropical climate with average temperatures between 22 – 25 oC. A pleasant water temperature suitable for swimming, as well as all activities you are looking forward to doing during your holidays, can be made at any time of the year. However, the most agreeable times to visit the island are from April to June and from September to December.
As with most tropical destinations, there are both dry and rainy seasons, although even during the wetter months there are usually plenty of hot perfect sunny days and any rainfall usually comes in heavy showers which clear quickly.
