Overview
Sunrise Attitude, an adult only hotel is in the wild and preserved east coast of the island. On one side, fields stretch as far as the eye can see, on the other, across a small coastal road, is one of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius, the Belle Mare beach, its kilometres of fine sand and incredible turquoise lagoon set the stage for your stay.
In harmony with the surrounding nature, the hotel is decorated in shades of leafy green, earthy terracotta and mustard. The Mauritian architecture style favours natural materials such as wood, stone, thatch and ravenala (has type of banana leaves). The furniture and decorative objects are mostly made by talented local craftsmen.
With its no-TV concept, Sunrise Attitude encourages guests to switch off and relax. It's a true escape from it all. Helping with that mission is the spa with its range of pampering treatments and therapies.
There are three restaurants in the “dine around” concept at the hotel, The Market is the hotel’s main restaurant serving international cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and don’t miss on their live cooking stations, where ingredients are sizzled and prepared to make you hungry.
The Social House restaurant near the pool is the place to go for healthy dishes, a great choice of vegan food and traditional buffet breakfasts. At dinnertime, The Social House transforms into a tapas restaurant with a relaxing lounge.
Kot Nou restaurant serves classic Mauritian dishes that have been revisited with creativity and originality. Green papaya salad and chilli cakes, chicken skewers with tandoori spices and other local delicacies are served in the form of tapas. Eat indoors or outdoors, wherever you desire.
