The boutique, Carana Beach Hotel is an all-suite hotel offering 40 affordable luxury and stylish chalets overlooking a picturesque sandy beach framed by granite boulders on the northeast coast of Mahé.
The sloping curve of the bay dictates the intimate character of the resort, which descends through tropical planting from an airy, open-sided reception lounge and spa down through a crescent-shaped string of Seychellois-style chalets to the restaurant and pool overlooking the beach.
Accommodation at Carana Beach includes 28 Oceanfront Suites and 12 special Oceanfront Pool Suites each with a private plunge pool. With luxurious amenities and a unique design, they offer guests the perfect space for a relaxing Seychelles holiday. All rooms have been designed to cater to couples as well as families. It is also the perfect choice for a Seychelles honeymoon or wedding.
Lorizon Restaurant received the World Luxury Restaurant Award in 2017 and is exceptional in many ways. Lorizon is a beachfront a la carte restaurant serving international and Creole cuisine in a casual setting.
Themed nights are held on a regular basis, such as a Creole night, a BBQ on the terrace, or an Asian night. The hotel’s own garden as well as a farm owned by the owner’s family provide fresh fruits and vegetables to the table.
Throughout the day, the beach bar provides small plates and cocktails. Tapas, nibbles, and delectable cocktails are served at Carana Beach Bar, which is frequently accompanied by live entertainment in the evening.
