Day 1
Arrival in Mauritius.
Welcome & assisted by representatives of Peacock Tours at International Airport in Plaine Magnien. Private transfer from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport to 20 Degrès Sud where you will spend the next nine nights. Check-in have a relaxing time by the pool and discover the hotel.

Days of operation: Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
A stop at Trou-Aux-Cerfs, dormant volcanic crater with its 360° panoramic view, starts the day. A drive through the forest of the island’s interior will take you to ‘Ganga Talao’ sacred lake. Further down the Black River Gorges National Park, you will reach a local restaurant with a breathtaking view. Continuing to Chamarel with its magnificent waterfall and unique 7-coloured Earth, evidence of a Geological phenomenon. On the return journey, the impressive view is dominated by Le Morne Mountain and Ile aux Benitiers.

Days of operation: Tuesday and Friday.
Take a walk in the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, created by French naturalist Pierre Poivre in 1767. Among the 650 varieties of plants are the famous Virginia Regina water lilies and 80 different varieties of palm trees. Continue to La Citadelle in Port Louis, where you will enjoy a panoramic view of the Champ de Mars racecourse and the city. Drive along Place d’Armes, the Saint Louis Cathedral, the Supreme Court, the Municipal Theatre, and the Government House. Finally, is a stroll along the local market and the Caudan Waterfront with its many boutiques, craft market, and a kaleidoscope of local life.

Treat yourself to a cruise across the lagoon of the West Coast
Highlight: Ile Aux Benitiers / Standard BBQ Lunch.

Enjoy the beauty of the ocean, the perfect sky, and the shades of green and blue of the pristine lagoon while sailing through magnificent locations including a stop at Ile aux Bénitiers. You will be seduced by the casuarina-lined beaches, the authentic view of Tamarin Bay, the backdrop of the Black River Gorges in the distance, and the impressive Le Morne Mountain, where runaway slaves sought refuge from their masters in the early 19th century. Although provided on board, we recommend bringing your own snorkelling gear. No alcohol will be served before snorkelling.

Departure Day
After checking out from 20 Degrès Sud a private transfer will take you to the Airport for check-in you will be welcomed by the representatives of Peacock Tours who will thereafter assist you with the check-in for your international flight.
