Day 1
Ayubowan - May You Live Long!
As you land in Sri Lanka, here's us welcoming you with our traditional greeting - Ayubowan! (Wishes for long life).
Be guided through the silk route VIP arrival to be met by our team who will introduce you to your travel host for the rest of your stay in Sri Lanka. After a quick welcome snack and airport protocols, be on your way towards your first hideaway in the cultural tropics. Watch as the scenery of the landscapes dramatically change as you traverse through the island from the busy commercial streets to the villages of the north.
Begin your adventure at the kingdom of Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka's earliest and oldest royal city. This sprawling city was the capital of the Island for 12 centuries. Anuradhapura is currently a place where you may see the remnants of a once-great metropolis, as well as the most beautiful stupas, temples, and dagobas. Drive through the gates of your first hideaway and be greeted like royalty through their traditional greetings and rest and relax the rest of your day.

Day 2
Ulagalla Discovery
Wake up this morning to the sounds of the chirpy birds and the rustling winds as you make your way to to enjoy an option of doing the Jungle Kayaking or Ulagalla On Horesback. Begin your day at Ulagalla with an active state to enjoy a fun-filled family vacation.
After a scenic active morning make your way to the breakfast pavilion. Be greeted by the cheeky monkeys who may try their luck to steal away a piece of your breakfast with their gentle yet charming looks.
After breakfast relax at your hideaway and afterward meet with your travel host to visiting the Ritigala Ancient Buddish Monastry - Tucked away in between the two ancient cities of Polonnaruwa and Anuradhapura, the Ritigala mountain is bound by numerous legends and myths that make visiting the mountain all the more intriguing and adventurous. Covered in a blanket of haze and a thick forest for over a two-mile radius, Ritigala is richly endowed with herbs and plants found nowhere else in the country.

Day 3
Historical Ruins
Wake up to embrace the Cultural tropics of Ceylon. After a hearty breakfast, you will set out to explore the first kingdom of Sri Lanka.
Make your way along the hallow streets of the once sprawling capital of the island, which was the first capital city of the ancient Sinhala Kingdom.
Afterward, make a visit to the black water pond for a moment of serenity. Be guided through the stories of Buddha which make this city one filled with pride and great historical importance. Meet with a local priest and listen to his teachings as you are blessed with a peaceful onwards vacation in the Island.
After a moment of serenity be on your way towards the Avukana Buddha Statue. Be guided through the historical tales which make this an iconic statue and be marvel at the architectural talents of the past.

Day 4
Rock Fortress
After an early breakfast, you will leave behind the cultural hub towards the last kingdom of Sri Lanka which is also known to be the little pride of our island. As you snake your way up towards the last stronghold of hold Ceylon, enjoy the change in atmosphere as you move from the rugged roads and village life to climb the cooling hills.
En route you will stop over to conquer the climb considered by many to be a world wonder. Sigiriya Rock Fortress is a UNESCO world heritage site and your travel host will guide you through its mystical tales as you reach the top of the fortress.
After the climb descends enjoy a tropical fruit to quench your thirst and be on your way towards the humble abode of a local to witness the truly authentic style of preparing a local lunch.
As you reach Kandy make one more stop at a handloom factory that promotes fair trade and learn the art of making this colourful piece of clothing while the locals share the stories of their livelihood. After reaching Kandy, spend a relaxing evening at your hideaway.

Day 5
Hill Country Art
After breakfast you will leave early to visit the BAHIRAWAKANDA KANDA TEMPLE also called the Sri Maha Bodhi Viharaya, which is well-known to tourists for its giant Buddha statue, which can be seen from almost any point in the city of Kandy.
In the afternoon visit the Udawatte Kale Sanctuary also known as the garden above the royal palace which was used by the royal family.
Finally, end the day witnessing a traditional cultural dance, where you are able to witness all types of Sri Lanka dance styles on one platform

Day 6
Mistry Hills
Wake up early this morning to visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic to see the tastefully built temple to house the sacred tooth of Buddha. The unique Kandyan architecture can be spotted on every building in this complex. make your way through to the main area passing the beautiful murals painted on the walls and ceiling.
Afterwards you have the option to visit EMBEKKE TEMPLE - It is said that some of the woodwork utilized for the "Drummers' Hall" came from an abandoned "Royal Audience Hall" at Gampola. There is every possibility the hall has seen repairs during the reigns of the Sinhalese Kings of Kandy. The carvings, which adorn the wooden pillars of the drummers' hall, as well as the "Vahalkada" (the entrance porch of the Devala, which is said to be older) are some of the best examples of Sinhaleseart.
You will then drive towards Nanu oya to catch the scenic rail journey to reach your next destination in the hills - Bandarawawela. Pass through the mot immaculate sceneries of the hills of Ceylon.

Day 7
Tea With Sir Lipton
Wake up early this morning to be wrapped in chilly weather and misty views as you brew yourself a hot cup of Ceylon Tea to cozy up in the misty hills. After a well-deserved warm breakfast, you will meet with your travel host who will drive you to visit the Lipton Seat. It’s not just the spectacular panoramic vistas that make Lipton Seat one of the most famous viewpoints in central Sri Lanka but also the interesting history, scenic walks, and the original Lipton Tea factory which is still in operation on the estate which makes it worth the visit.
Return to your hideaway to enjoy the many activities available within your hideaway as you take in the best views of the hills. Cooking Class, Wellness immersion, Hiking Trails , Tea Experience, Eucalyptus Forest Experience, and ATV rides.

Day 8
Natural Hills
Wake up early this morning to the chilly weather and misty views and brew yourself a hot cup of Ceylon Tea as you enjoy the view. Meet your Travel Host as he along with a local guide will accompany you to the peak of Ella Rock. Hike up through tea fields and mountainous edges as you cross large pine forests to finally come across the picturesque Ella gap bathed in golden rays as the sun appears gingerly from behind the mountain ranges in the distance. Enjoy a freshly cut king coconut to refresh yourself and prepare for your climb down.
And along the way visit the most photographic site in Ella the Nine Arche Bridge
Afterwards, Drive through yet again one of the most scenic routes as you pass through the mountainous terrain to be met with flat land and a straight road ahead. Enjoy the dramatic change in scenery as you are met with lush green paddy fields and the smiling locals going about their usual life wearing warm smiles.
Enter the land of wild friends as you check into your hideaway in Yala. Should you feel adventurous an evening safari is yours to explore to begin your wildlife adventure.
Enjoy the peaceful quietness of the wild and jungle as you meet for dinner. After a scrumptious meal sleep under the watchful night sky as you are in for a great treat the next morning.

Day 9
Natural Hills
Wake up early morning before sunrise to the callings of the birds and the distant sound of the waves crashing against the shore. Just as the call of the wild excited you, it is time to head into the Yala National Park for a morning. As you hop on board a safari jeep catches a glimpse of the early morning rays of the sun peak a glance at earth. The picture-perfect sunrise as you enter the National Park.
After a well-spent morning alongside the wildlife and nature, you will return back to your hideaway.
In the evening you have the opportunity to visit the Katharagama Temple for the blessing ceremony.
Afterwards head back to your hideaway and enjoy the quiet wild jungle in your lovely cocoon.

Day 10
Coastal Line
Wake up in the morning to sound of the nature and make your way to the breakfast pavilion. Afterwards you leave the jungle to enjoy a bit of the beach and the sun together. Along the way experience a cinnamon plantation, to know how the spice is made and imported to many parts of the world.
You will check in to your cliff-top resort and spend the whole evening at the beach and exploring the hotel amenities around.

Day 11
Dutch Heritage
After breakfast, today you will be visiting the Galle Fort, where you get to exploit the Dutch Heritage and walk inside the fort for the historic architecture. First conquered by the Portuguese in the late 16th century, Galle city was then overtaken by the Dutch in the 17th century and became extensively fortified as it transformed into Sri Lanka’s main spice trading port for over 200 years.
Today, the Galle Fort area is unlike any other place we’ve found in Sri Lanka; a vaguely European-feeling city plonked in the deliciously salty tropics, a melting pot of culture and religion bursting with colour, and where, thankfully, the taste of Ceylon tea and cinnamon is never far away.
After a nice evening enjoying the Dutch fort, you will come back to your hideaway and relax the night.

Sun & Sea
You have the full day to yourself to relax on the beach and take a rest to go through the pictures you took during your stay in Sri Lanka.

Day 13

Today after breakfast you will make your way to the airport in time for your onward flight.
