VISIT AJANTA CAVES

Nestled amidst the picturesque Sahyadri Hills in Maharashtra, the Ajanta Caves are a breathtaking testament to Buddhist art and architecture. Carved into the rugged rock face, these 30 caves date back to the 2nd century BCE and house exquisitely detailed murals and sculptures that depict the life of Buddha and stories from Jataka tales (stories of previous births of Lord Buddha). The skilful use of chisels and hammers by ancient artisans has created awe-inspiring rock-cut temples, adorned with vivid frescoes that narrate the spiritual journey of Buddhism.
