Overview
Diphlu River Lodge has 12 cottages, accommodating up to 24 guests at a time, ensuring an exclusive and serene experience. The lodge is run on eco-friendly principles and combines luxurious touches with rustic design. Cottages are raised on cement stilts to co-op with flooding during rainy season, topped with natural materials like bamboo and wood, and thatched roofs to blend in with the forest surroundings.
Out of the 12 cottages, four of them are river-facing and the rest are paddy-facing. All cottages are nearly the same size and have the same interiors, except for minor stylistic differences. All cottages sleep 2 and are air-conditioned for comfort.
The main lodge building houses a library and a restaurant which serves a fusion of local Assamese and continental cuisine. Picnic lunches also can be arranged, and there is a well-stocked bar where you can enjoy an evening drink looking out into the Park.
