Overview
The Ranthambore Tiger reserve is designed to provide peace and tranquillity within its luxurious and very personal atmosphere. The camp is spread over 35 acres, and it has about 7 kms of walking trails.
The accommodation at the property is split across three categories, there are 4 spacious standard rooms in the main building which each have AC and an ensuite bathroom, 13 tents nestled within the grounds each with ensuite bathrooms and the eight stand-alone luxury cottages are spacious and comfortable, each have ensuite bathrooms and an outdoor shower, a large private courtyard and veranda. It is worth noting that the tents do not have AC. The camp has a small plunge pool, and a spa perfect for cooling off in the afternoon heat.
The food at the camp is entirely vegetarian, cooked using mainly home-grown organic vegetables, they have their own organic dairy and bakery. There is a mix of Indian, Western and Oriental cuisines providing rich flavours to suit every taste.
The camp is spread over 35 acres, and it has about 7 kms of walking trails. It is common to see jackals, jungle cats, hyenas, desert fox, hares and more within the camp. As it is close to the park one can sometimes see pugmarks of leopards, tigers and bears that have passed by and, if one is lucky, one may even see them near the camp. This is also a bird watchers paradise.
